2. Visit the cave of Benagil

The Benagil Cave is a stunningly beautiful site located next to the Praia de Benagil in the Algarve region of Portugal. Its captivating entrance, formed by powerful waves entering the cave and sunlight beaming in through the top, is sure to mesmerize all who enter.

3. Explore the Algarve’s stunning coastline

Embark on a journey of exploration and adventure along the stunning Algarvian coastline with a hike on the cliffs. The Seven Hanging Valleys Trail is an incredible journey with breathtaking views, allowing you to experience the best of the Algarve in one walk. Starting at Praia da Marinha, one of the most famous beaches in the Algarve, this 6 kilometer route takes you past breathtaking cliffs and picturesque beaches.

Briefly, the route is: Praia da Marinha – Praia de Benagil – Carvalho Beach – Alfanzina Lighthouse – Praia de Vale Centianes. Park your car at Praia Da Marinha and start your incredible 2.5 hour journey on foot. When you’re done, you can take an Uber to get back to your car.

If you’re looking for a shorter route, you can start your hike at Benagil. You’ll trek over rugged cliffs, past gorgeous bays, and eventually arrive at the stunning Praia da Marinha. This route takes about one hour.

4. Algar Seco & the Carvoeiro Boardwalk
